RAISED BY DESIGN

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about what Raised by Design is, how it works, and what to expect.

No. Raised by Design is an educational framework, not a medical, psychological, or diagnostic service. The Design Profile reflects your own observations as a parent — it isn't a clinical assessment, and nothing in the platform should be used to make medical or therapeutic decisions. If you have concerns about your child's health or development, please speak to a qualified professional.
It isn't a replacement for either — we'll even recommend books along the way, and there's nothing wrong with asking AI a question when you're curious about something. But neither can do what this does.

A book gives you one researcher's view on one topic. You still have to work out what it actually means for your specific child, and hold eight different books' worth of research in your head at once to get the whole picture. A generic AI conversation can be genuinely useful in the moment, but it has no memory of your child, no structure, and nothing consistent to check its answers against.

Raised by Design starts from a real assessment of your child and synthesises research across eight areas into one coherent, prioritised plan built specifically around them. And it doesn't forget. It builds a growing, dated record of what your child has actually done and proven, week by week, year after year. Something neither a book nor a single AI conversation can do.
It's private, encrypted, and never shared with third parties or used for advertising. Only you can see it. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Most weeks involve a short conversation or a small activity — not hours of homework. The platform is built around what you're already doing as a family, and protocols to intentionally build priority development areas.
